Communicating science to a non-expert public is per se a science. We are strongly convinced that increasing public awareness of science is fundamental and that scientists should be the first ones to deliver correct and clear messages about their research activities and results. For these reasons, our group frequently participates in physical and virtual events dedicated to science dissemination, communication and popularization. This page is a showcase of our outreach activities. And yes, it’s always great fun!

In 2013, Federico was among the first active members of the International Association of Italian Researchers AIRIcerca, an Internet Social community now comprising over 20’000 Italian researchers working all over the world. AIRIcerca became a registered Italian association in 2014. From 2014 to 2022, Federico served as Editor-in-Chief of the association’s science popularization initiative called AIRInforma, an online journal (ISSN 2610-928X) that has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in Italian language, covering the most diversified topics in science.
